Chemonics International Inc., a U.S.-based international development consulting firm, seeks the following long-term positions for the anticipated USAID Enhancing Trade and Finance (ETF) Activity in Ghana. This five-year activity will mobilize finance and investment in targeted sectors of the Ghanaian economy – including, but not limited to, agriculture, climate mitigation and adaptation, trade, apparel, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), renewable energy sectors – and create jobs.
The activity will ensure the development of a broad and diverse finance market which can meet the financing needs of different business types through increased private-sector investment. In addition, the activity will enhance trade by creating linkages to improved markets and empowering Small Medium Enterprises (SME) with growth potential to seize trade and investment opportunities and meet foreign market standards.

List of the Chemonics International Jobs
#1. Chief of Party
Responsibilities include:
- Provide overall leadership, management, and general technical direction of the activity
- Lead the strategic planning of the project, including annual work plans, and provide overall vision and strategic planning for implementation
- Serve as the principal liaison to USAID and ensure effective coordination with relevant Government of Ghana stakeholders, other donors/donor-funded projects, investors, and private and public sector stakeholders
#2. Private Sector Investment Team Lead
Responsibilities include:
- Lead efforts to mobilize private sector investments across the agriculture, trade, apparel, climate finance for adaptation/mobilization, WASH, and other high-impact sectors
- Manage investor relations. Build and maintain strong partnerships with the private sector
- Oversee activities to support financial institutions in increasing the availability of custom products to address the financing needs of SMEs and rural farming communities

#3. SME Competitiveness Team Lead
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee capacity-strengthening efforts for SMEs, including activities that support growth potential, equip them to capitalize on available trade and investment opportunities, and enhance productivity and resilience
- Collaborate with the Private Sector Investment team to understand the investment landscape and support needed for SMEs
- Lead education activities and business training sessions to build SME skills and capacity
#4. Regulatory and Policy Team Lead
Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities to facilitate a regulatory environment that encourages alternative financing methods, and promotes private-sector investment and inclusive finance
- Coordinate with the Chief of Party and other component team leaders to ensure that all activities are aligned with the overall scope and objectives of the activity
