Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safety Commitment - Proactive awareness and total commitment to Epiroc's number one priority - always exercising a high standard of precaution and duty of care to yourself and for others around you.
- Advise customer on asset strategy for the product (Easer L) and other related drilling equipment (Helping the Customer in proper Maintenance planning and ensuring that all planned works are executed according to specification).
- Conduct community of practices with shared experiences, best practices and develop joint programs of work with the customer and Epiroc Centre.
- Trusted to provide holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components for new product and drilling fleet.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Defect Elimination as required (analysis and reports of components).
- Provide tailored training to suit career development for customer's employees and Epiroc Technicians.
- Provide coaching to operators on the correct drilling techniques including:
- Pre-start Checklist followed
- End-of-shift Checklist followed
- Drill points and ground conditions assessed and reported
- Organize and maintain drill fleet in performance management program and assist in monthly reporting.
- Conduct training and mentoring to increase product knowledge and exposure to enhance the overall team knowledge (Staff and Non-Staff) to the professional standard.
- Optimize productivity and quality targets through utilizing Engineering knowledge, root cause analysis and data analytics.
- Recommend and or develop process changes to improve equipment performance or to better meet customer's needs.
- In addition to the above, respond to client learning and development requirements, provide appropriate technical support and advice in order to meet/exceed client expectations.

Competences, Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of relevant underground drilling fleet equipment (Easer L would be an Advantage)
- Trade qualified Mechanical and Expert at electrical fault finding and maintenance.
- Considerable experience in RCS systems, automation and technology systems is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Epiroc products both for underground mining and geological drilling.
- MS Excel and Word Basic, SAP knowledge.
- Epiroc /Atlas Copco/'s mandatory certificates.
- Root cause analysis experience (Applied failure analysis).
- Oil sampling techniques and protocols.
- Excellent on Hydraulics, Electrics & Pneumatics.
- Atlas Copco, Epiroc Essential Basics course.
- Epiroc business practices/systems and Online Tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Mechanical Engineering).
- Trade Qualified - Minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or related heavy diesel qualifications.
