Summary
To develop an integrated COO function that supports with key capabilities as required from a strategic and operational perspective. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of the company’s operations, financials, human resources and compliance. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all of the company’s systems, processes, workflows, and procedures.
The COO will, also, play a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the company.

Skills
- An experienced and determined senior manager with a minimum of 5 years’ work at an equivalent level.
- Strategic vision and agility, ability to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational development plan.
- A strong team leader with experience in coordinating a team’s day to day activity, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Results-driven, proven track record in exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation.
- Strong financial literacy, able to analyze and develop complex budgets.
- Strong operational knowledge including supporting a regulated business to be compliant across all areas of its business – environmental, financial, legal, HR etc.
- Process-driven, confident in developing efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of the business.
- Able to support and consolidate learning and development across the business; committed to informal and formal ongoing
- professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and highly literate; able to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy.
- Essential personal qualities – strong ‘completer-finisher’, conscientious, efficient; energetic, determined and passionate about
- 1st Degree (Hons) in Business, Economics, Social Science or related subjects
- Project Management Certification
- A 2nd Degree preferably an MBA qualification will be an advantage
Location: Oyarifa
Salary: Ghc15k -20k
