What You’ll Do:
- Manage and grow Scholar’s Backpack’s LinkedIn presence, creating and curating engaging, resourceful, and professional content.
- Research and post information on scholarships, fee waivers, and professional development resources.
- Collaborate with the team to strategize and execute creative campaigns aligned with our mission.
- Design graphics and content using tools like Canva, ensuring posts are visually appealing and aligned with the SBP brand.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster a thriving online community.
- Analyze LinkedIn performance metrics to refine strategies and achieve growth goals.
- Potentially manage one additional social media platform in the future.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience managing professional social media accounts, with a strong focus on LinkedIn.
- Demonstrated ability to execute successful social media strategies and grow engagement.

- Social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Figma).
- Basic video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush).
- Collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, Asana).
Content and Research Skills:
- Strong research abilities to identify and share verified opportunities and resources.
- Advanced writing and editing skills for creating engaging and professional content.
- SEO knowledge to optimize content for maximum reach and visibility.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
