The organization is seeking highly motivated professionals for the position of Finance Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Accounts Payable: Process and pay invoices promptly. Reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Accounts Receivables: Invoice customers and track payments received, follow up on overdue payments, resolve billing issues, reconcile all bank accounts, and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- General Ledger Accounting: Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of
journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers, and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance through variance analyses
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Partly or fully qualified with ICAG or ACCA
