Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill a vacancy in the post of Assistant Environmental Health Analyst II in the Parliamentary Service of Ghana.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Environmental Health Analyst II shall provide support to the Clerk to Parliament and management of the Parliamentary Service by performing the following duties:

- Provide inputs for the preparation and implementation of environmental health plans
- Interpret and implement environmental health policies and programmes
- Monitor and report on environment health programmes and activities. Provide inputs for the preparation of bills and payment certificates for environmental health services
- Promote the adoption and application of appropriate technology and standards for environmental health service delivery
- Lead the conduct of research and dissemination of results in the environmental health field
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and utilization of sanitation facilities, waste management services and advise on their improvement and sustainability
- Implement social techniques and concepts in the solution of environmental health problems
- Assist in promoting food and water hygiene programmes
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the clerk to parliament
Qualification Required & Experience
- A good first Degree in environmental science or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 4 years post qualification work experience in environmental health and sanitation and at least 3 years in a position analogous to Senior Environmental health analyst in a public service institution OR
- A good first Degree and a Master's Degree in Environmental Science or relevant discipline with at least 3 years post Master's degree qualification experience in a position analogous to senior environmental health analyst in a public service institution

Age Limit: Applicants for the post should not be above 40 years of age on the date of appointment into the Parliamentary Service.
