Graphic Communications Group invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the job position of Assistant Estates Officer.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the identification of maintenance requirements, plan maintenance schedules and prepare costs, estimates/budgets for required works
- Assist in the day-to-day supervision of projects and repairs on continuing basis to ensure that they are conducted in accordance with company standards
- Inspect company properties and prepare monthly reports on status of fixed assets
- Assist in the development and maintenance of inventory of fixed assets
- Inspect company properties prior to rentals, prepare adverts and negotiate rental income
- Manage the day-to-day cash fund
- Ensure that all company properties are maintained in a clean environment

Qualification Required & Experience
- Good first degree in Estate Management, Building Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- HND in Estate Management, Building Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Work experience in a media environment will be an advantage
Skills / Competencies Required
- Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty
- Must possess good communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, team building
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Knowledge of design software
