Objectives of this role
- Analyse the client’s technological requirements and provide advice to meet those needs.
- Identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Optimise the IT systems and infrastructure to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve performance.
- Provide continuous support and guidance to ensure the company’s digital systems.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the company’s technological goals align with its business objectives.
Your tasks
- Conduct assessments of clients’ existing IT systems and processes.
- Develop and implement customised IT solutions for clients, including hardware and software recommendations, network architecture and cybersecurity measures.
- Record and maintain documentation related to IT systems and procedures to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the company.
- Develop and foster relationships with vendors and other technology partners.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to ensure our clients receive the best IT advice and support.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an IT consultant, preferably in a technology-based firm.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including networks, servers and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in various programming languages, database management software and operating systems.
- Familiarity in the cybersecurity, regulatory compliance and data protection domain.

Preferred skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, ITIL Foundation).
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualisation technologies.
- Ability to lead a team, work independently or collaborate between multiple units.
