DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for a Manager Accounts Payable (PTP) in Ghana. In this specific position, you will Participate in the design and ensure the implementation of DHL Group Accounts Payable (AP) plans and policies to manage incoming invoices and maximize cash flow in line with DHL's strategy.
You will also Ensure the implementation of DHL Group Accounting Governance and Internal Control plans to timely generate accounting information, meet reporting requirements, and achieve compliance with accounting practices in line with accounting principles, financial policies, controlling guidelines, and Internal and External Audits to Group standards and legal requirements. Ensure all Tax and Statutory responsibilities/commitments of the Company are adequately performed.

- You will contribute to the DHL Group Accounts Payable (AP) strategy.
- You will oversee and review the delivery of products and services for end-to-end handling of incoming invoices (from invoice receipt to payment preparation).
- You will maintain a clean AP ledger, manage credit terms, and ensure payments are made in line with payment terms.
- You will manage the service relationship with a specific business unit/area for a range of AP accounting services.
- You will ensure the implementation of control mechanisms to enhance adherence to set DHL Group standards and compliance requirements.
- You will develop solutions that reflect best practices and work across multiple DHL Group business areas/geographies, such as new payments processes or systems, etc.
- You will propose process improvements that align with DHL Group policies and ensure change implementation arising out of financial process changes, such as new AP processes.
- You will ensure up-to-date tax submissions to tax authorities and other statutory authorities regarding all statutory obligations of the company, while maintaining all tax-related ledgers clean.
- You will ensure adequate accounting and reporting of all tax accounts on ERP and Crest.
- You will take the lead and coordinate all internal and external audits through a well-organized ICS process for the company.
- You will ensure external audit processes leading to signed audited accounts are well managed and on time, while maintaining all tax and statutory obligatory ledgers clean.
- You will ensure the company finance-related payroll process and all related accounting are adequately and timeously delivered, while maintaining all employee/payroll-related ledgers clean.
- You will ensure all employee-related accounting and reporting on ERP and Crest are correctly and timeously done.
- You will ensure Fixed Register maintenance, as per the DHL Group Policy.
- You will ensure all fixed asset-related accounting and reporting on ERP and Crest are correctly and timeously done.
- You will ensure Lease/LEAP Register maintenance, as per/on the DHL Group Policy and Systems.
- You will ensure all Lease/LEAP-related accounting and reporting on ERP and Crest are correctly and timeously done.
- You will manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
- You will drive and ensure adherence with DHL Group policies, specifically with reference to finance Account Payables, Tax, and compliance.

- Bachelor's Degree, Chartered Accountant
- more than 6 years of experience
