Project Summary
Tetra Tech is implementing the five-year, USAID-funded Power Africa Empower West Africa Program . Building on a decade of Power Africa success, Empower West Africa aims to close the energy poverty gap in the region by increasing the supply of and access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable electricity. By 2029, Empower West Africa aims to establish six million new electricity connections; reach financial close for 2,500 megawatts of new generation capacity; construct 1,500 kilometers of new power lines; and achieve sales of 40,000 productive use of energy (PUE) devices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years in renewable energy project development, financing, or advisory roles.
- Proven track record of providing transactional support to energy projects, particularly in emerging markets or underserved regions.
- Strong knowledge in project finance, deal structuring, and energy market analysis.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and associated infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools, project management software, and data analysis platforms.
- Strategic and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Preferred But Not Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
