Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Accra, Ghana. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. You will work closely with our design and development team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and modify websites and web applications according to client specifications
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
- Troubleshoot and debug website and application issues
- Optimize website and application performance
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies
- Communicate project progress and challenges to team members and clients
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
- Knowledge of back-end languages like PHP or Python is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A portfolio of previous web development projects is preferred
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position based in Accra, Ghana. The contract will be for a minimum of one year with the possibility of an extension based on performance. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical insurance and paid time off.
