The NRA has a statutory responsibility for regulating civilian use of nuclear and other radioactive materials and is preparing itself to regulate Ghana’s nuclear power programme.
Job Description
The NRA is seeking to recruit to fill various positions in its organisational structure. The NRA hereby invites qualified Ghanaians to apply for any of the positions listed below.
Responsibilities
- This position will ensure Ghana’s compliance with international legal requirement while working with nuclear materials users and/holders to fulfil their required obligations.
- The candidate will be responsible for verification of nuclear material inventory within the country, analysing and reporting nuclear material inventory data, preparing inventory reports, maintaining ledgers, monitoring imports and exports of nuclear materials. The substantive will be involved in facilitating inspections of the International Atomic Energy Agency in line with Ghana’s Safeguards Agreement.
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum of Masters in applied physics, nuclear engineering, radiochemistry or other related subjects.
