- Grow and sustain a robust and credible Wealth Management business which provides investment management, financial planning, bancassurance sales, tax advice and estate planning.
- Provide leadership and direction to the affiliate and regional teams to ensure optimal delivery on client acquisition, wallet share growth and efficiency.
- Leverage digital channels to engage and serve clients efficiently
- Leverage the value chain across Commercial and Corporate Banking to grow client base and share of wallet
- Pioneer process simplification and efficiency to achieve an optimal cost-income ratio
- Drive revenue per RM through optimal up & cross-selling
Customer Excellence
- Develop best in class client engagement teams (i.e. Wealth Managers, Relationship Managers and Financial Planners) to serve clients
- Design and execute best in class customer value propositions for each affiliate in region
- Become best bank for High Net-worth Individuals in each affiliate in the region as measured by CX and NPS ratings
- Develop, maintain and leverage on excellent communication with key stakeholders and business influencers across the affiliate to support productive external and internal relationships
Leadership and people management
- Effective mentoring, training and development of teams
- Share knowledge and best practice across affiliates in region
Process, control and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, legal, regulatory, audits and any other governance requirements
- Ensure appropriate Securities & Exchange regulatory compliance across affiliates in the Region for the distribution of Wealth Management solutions.
- Embed target market disciplines in growing a healthy client portfolio
- Comply with all the Group and Affiliate policies and procedures
- Lead strategic initiatives that will drive RM efficiency (through tools, development and digital adoption)
Strategic initiatives
- Build primary banker relationships with at least 75% of the Wealth & Premier client portfolio
- Ensure adequate focus on building well diversified client portfolios
JOB PROFILE
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 10 years in leadership role in the financial services industry, 4 year of which should be in managing High Net Worth Individual portfolios.
- Certification in Financial Planning and Wealth Management is an advantage
- Master’s Degree
