About FORMICA Finishing School

FORMICA Finishing School delivers a robust blend of hands-on training, expert coaching, and real-world practice. Designed to bridge the transition from academia to industry, our program empowers students with the know-how and mindset to stand out and succeed. As a facilitator, you'll play a key role in guiding students through sessions that elevate their skills, confidence, and readiness for the workforce.

What Youll Facilitate

We're seeking facilitators with expertise to lead sessions across our three core modules, with topics as outlined below:

Module 1: Professional Skills

Empower students with practical, industry-relevant tools and frameworks essential to any career.

• Digital Tools: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Grammarly, Zoom, and AI applications.
• Design Thinking & Effective Presentations: Cover ideation, prototyping, audience analysis, and presentation skills.
• Stakeholder Management: Guide students in identifying and managing stakeholder expectations, building strong relationships, and engaging effectively.
• Time & Project Management: Teach techniques for time management, project planning, and personal productivity.
  
  

Module 2: Personal Development

Help students build foundational skills in self-awareness, leadership, and confidence for personal and professional success.

• Leadership & Communication: Cover leadership basics, cultural communication skills, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence.
• Personal Branding & Self-Confidence: Facilitate personal brand development, self-confidence techniques, and strategies for self-promotion.
• Integration of Core Skills: Guide students in setting goals, creating action plans, seeking mentorship, and using vision boards.
  
  

Module 3: Career Readiness

Equip students with knowledge and tools to confidently enter the job market and manage their early careers.

• Career Guidance & Exploration: Lead students through self-assessment, career exploration, and labor market analysis.
• Resume & Cover Letter Development: Cover essentials of resume tailoring, cover letter writing, and digital job applications.
• Interview Preparation & Job Search Strategies: Provide insights into effective interviewing, job search strategies, networking, and salary negotiation.

Who Were Looking For

• Experience and Knowledge: You have expertise in your subject area, with a background in training, mentorship, facilitation, or teaching. Prior experience with young adults or recent graduates is a plus.
• Engaging Communicator: You bring energy, clarity, and enthusiasm to your sessions, making complex topics accessible and inspiring for students.
• Passionate About Student Success: You believe in the power of education and personal development to shape the next generation. You're excited to help students develop both the technical skills and the mindset they need to succeed.
