Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for safeguarding the public, protecting property, and ensuring data security within the hotel and its environs.
- You are also responsible for monitoring live CCTV footage of all areas of the hotel including guest floors, public spaces, entrances and exits.
- You also identify and respond to security branches, suspicious activities, safety hazards, and emergencies.
- Maintain records of all incidents and observations including date, time, location and a description of the event, recording and storing of video footage.
- You ensure the CCTV system is functioning correctly, troubleshooting technical issues and reporting malfunctions.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Exceedingly observant with a high level of concentration.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all key stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests.
- Excellent understanding of body language with attention to details.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to think on your feet and stay calm during emergencies.
- Competency using a variety of computer software.
- discretion and confidentiality.
- Must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the same or similar position.
