The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the underlisted position: Project Manager (PM)
Roles
The PM will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project and will report to the Project Coordinator (PC) on all substantive and administrative issues. The PC will, in turn, report to the National Project Director (NPD), in consultation with the assigned UNDP programme manager.
The PM will assist the PC in periodic reporting to the Project Board as instructed by the NPD and will support the PC and NPD in fulfilling government obligations under the Project. Additionally, the PM will assist in liaising with UNDP, other UN agencies, CSOs, project partners, and donor agencies providing co-financing.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Coordinator in managing overall project conduct, planning activities, monitoring progress against the approved workplan, and executing project activities, including managing personnel, goods, services and drafting terms of reference
- Monitor project events and financial resources, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reports. Prepare and submit progress and financial reports to the project board and UNDP regularly, ensuring compliance with UNDP procedures and standards
