The Garden City University College (GCUC), Kenyase-Kumasi, is inviting applications for the appointment of a Procurement Officer in the University College.
The Position
The Procurement Officer shall be a Senior Staff and shall be responsible to the Registrar of the University College.
He/She will be responsible for supervising day-to-day procurement activities and assist the University College in the compliance of procurement laws and regulations, and other best practices in the procurement of goods and services. The Procurement Officer must exhibit high level of professionalism in his/her duties and responsibilities
Qualification Required & Experience
- Degree/HND/Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing and Supplies, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any related field with proven specialization in procurement.

- Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a procurement department of a reputable institution.
- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.
- High level of integrity, honesty and sense of responsibility.
- Registration with appropriate professional bodies is an added advantage

- The appointment is a full-time.
- Salary and fringe benefits/conditions of service attached to the post are attractive.
