Happy Milk Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the job position of Senior Accounts Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Accounting Software Management:
- Update and maintain all aspects of the software, including:
- Tracking total revenue from Cash Sales and Credit Sales invoices.
- Overseeing payments from credit customers and to creditors.
- Managing petty cash transactions and operational expenses.
- Conducting bank transactions and reconciliation.
- Managing inventory items (saleable and non-saleable).
- Recording various transactions like payroll, employee loans and advances, consultant fees, taxes, and maintaining registers for Plant, Property & Equipment (PPE).
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Provide daily updates to management to support decision-making processes.

Operational Support:
- Assist in cash counts, banking activities, payment of statutory debts, managing utilities, and bill payments.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the CEO and Management.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience with QuickBooks.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn, improve, and adapt to new challenges.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a quick learning ability.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
