Job Description
- Position location: Volta, Bono East, Northern, Oti Regions
- Reporting to: Finance Manager
- Accountable to: Project manager
- Contract term: 2 years with possibility for extension
- Associates: Project officers

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities
Project Management
- To perform secretarial services for the office
- To support program team during training workshops and staff meetings
- File and manage office documentation
- To serve as management information officer
- To serve as the office receptionist
- To assist staff in using Internet for professional and official purposes
- To maintain visitors book for the office
- To manage and administer office imprest
- Purchase office supplies (toiletries & stationary)
- Improve and operate an efficient system of receipt, recording, and distribution of mails.
B. Financial Management and accountability
- Process account payables after examination of accuracy for payment. Ensure that all project-related transactions were conducted, processed, and recorded as per the donor system of chart of account
- Ensure that all payments to suppliers and or projects are in accordance with relevant regulations and approved plan/budget.
- Ensure that cheque books, invoices, and other valuable books are well accounted for and kept in safe and secured custody.
- Ensure that all program activities expenditures are following donor-laid-down internal controls.
- Maintain up-to-date asset register including office vehicles, equipment, and motor bikes.
Required Skills or Experience
Education and work experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma Certificate in Accounting
- A minimum of two (2) years working in NGO, access to finance, and agricultural development programme.

Key competency and skills required.
- Excellent in QuickBooks, (Accounting software for financial transactions)
- Excellent Inter-personal and Communication Skills
- Ability to perform under a pressured working environment
- Results-oriented, proactive, and able to consistently meet deadlines
- Tolerance, high emotional intelligence, and information management ability.
