Key Responsibilities
- To undertake assessment, planning and implementation of interventions to address the needs of critically ill patients
- To provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, effectively managing complex health conditions and supporting recovery
- To collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for improving patient care outcomes
- Accurate documentation of all procedures and interventions to enhance patient's safety
- Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
- Must be a certified Critical Care Nurse and in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana
- A minimum of 3 years working experience as a Critical Care Nurse
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in high dependency unit, intensive care unit (ICU) or Acute Care Unit is an added advantage

Key Competencies
- Ability to oversee patient care plans and effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
- Ability to take initiative and work under little or no supervision
- Applicants should possess good critical thinking, communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure
- Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety practices
- Must be a good team player
- Must exhibit a high level of customer relationship skills
- Good command of the English language both in verbal and written communication
- Good interpersonal relationship
- Good computer skills and experience with electronic medical record-keeping
- Must be competent in senior nursing procedures
- Skills for managing critically ill/unconscious patients, advanced wound care skills
