Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure, VPN configuration, and general web application security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security principles, experience with cloud security best practices, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Configure and manage VPNs to ensure secure remote access.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and respond to security incidents.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard cloud solutions.
- Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and security features.
- Proficiency in VPN configuration and management.
- Strong understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
