Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) seeks to employ a Head of ICT.
Job Purpose
To develop, implement and manage a secure and efficient information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and systems to help meet the strategic and operational technological needs of the association
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides quality support systems and services to the Association through overall management, control and administration of all ICT functions, facilities and infrastructure. Oversees the association's ICT planning and maintenance
- Plans, develops and implements the Association’s ICT strategies to be in line with overall organisation business goals and objectives
- Advises the General Secretary on ICT related issues
- Manages and leads IT operations including systems, infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, tools, training and support, including a contralised ICT helpdesk service to all districts and regions
- Manages and leads change to ensure efficient delivery of ICT services to the association
- Manages IT projects including planning, budgeting and delivery in a cost-efficient manner
- Ensuring IT risks are identified, assessed and mitigated
- Monitors and ensures compliance of staff, IT systems and processes with relevant policies, regulation and laws within and outside the Association
