Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant and Administrative Executive to manage both accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Oversee general office operations and ensure smooth administrative functions.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Support HR functions, including onboarding and employee records management.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers as needed.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, Accounting Assistant, or Administrative Executive.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing financial records and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic HR functions.

Additional Information

  • The individual must have a valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
