Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Research and Programs Executive to lead our events and program initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, research, and business development, with the ability to prepare comprehensive business proposals and documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of company events and programs.
  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Prepare business proposals, reports, and other business documents to support company initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event and program execution.
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Support the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Handle correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries related to programs and events.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for all programs and events.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Programs Director, Event Executive, or in a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and event management software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, program coordination, or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing business proposals and other business documents.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and programs.
  • Experience in budget management and contract negotiation.

Additional Information

  • The individual must have a valid driving license.
  • Candidates with a legal background will have an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
