Job Description

Relationship Officer (RO) is responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with clients Managing and growing a portfolio of clients through effective relationship-building, and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with potential clients. 

In this role, a Relationship Officer is responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Conducting needs assessments to understand clients’ needs.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets for products and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and interactions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Keeping abreast with industry trends and changes.
  • Negotiate and close deals with new clients.
  • Prepare and deliver oral professional presentations to clients.
  • Assist the Project Director to develop and implement strategies to improve brand awareness

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications Studies, Business Administration, HR, Political science, and related field.
  • Experience in Customer Service or Relationship management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge about the Ghanaian service sector would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong work ethic (Reliable and honest)
  • Excellent phone manners
  • Very interpersonal skills
  • Confident and assertive
  • Results-oriented and resourceful
