We seek an experienced Senior full-stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team. We need someone passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems, particularly in ML/AI-driven forecasting for small businesses in Africa. What does the job involve
As a Senior Fullstack Software Developer, you will be crucial in building and maintaining the API infrastructure that powers our eCommerce and software services. This includes working on our customer app, small business app, and back-end systems. Your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and maintaining features and improvements across various services and systems.
You will collaborate closely with product management, frontend developers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high quality for our products. Additionally, you will be expected to identify and address technical debt and propose solutions to enhance team efficiency.

Qualifications
- 7+ years as a fullstack developer, currently holding a position as a senior full-stack developer for 2+ years
- 4+ years of experience using PHP Laravel
- 3+ years of experience using VueJs
- Experience working with technologies like Linux, Apache, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Significant professional experience in building large, highly available systems, with experience in team or technical leadership being a plus.
- Proficiency in writing code that adheres to industry standards for style, maintainability, and testability in a high-scale web environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly devise solutions without compromising quality.
- A focus on speed, performance, and quality application design.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Managed or mentored at least 1 junior developer, demonstrating leadership and mentoring abilities.
- A hands-on coder with a strong preference for technical involvement over managerial responsibilities.
- Experience or a strong curiosity in AI, as embedding AI into our future products is a crucial aspect of our development strategy.
- Demonstrated potential to grow into a leadership position, such as Director of Engineering or CTO.
- Knowledge of B2B e-commerce is highly advantageous, although not a strict requirement.
- Willingness to work from Ghana is highly preferable; however, hybrid arrangements and candidates from the rest of West Africa, with the ability to travel occasionally, will be considered.
