Role Description
This is a contract role for a CompEx Electrical Technician (Local). The Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on-site in Sekondi-Takoradi. The role will involve working with electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with hazardous area regulations. This is an on-site role and requires the technician to be present at the Sekondi-Takoradi location.
Qualifications
- Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
- Experience in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician
- Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of professionals to achieve project objectives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Valid CompEx 01- 04 certification
- Valid BOSIET, IMIST and OGUK
- Experience in the oil and gas, mining, or energy industry is a plus
