Role Description

This is a contract role for a CompEx Electrical Technician (Local). The Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on-site in Sekondi-Takoradi. The role will involve working with electrical equipment and ensuring compliance with hazardous area regulations. This is an on-site role and requires the technician to be present at the Sekondi-Takoradi location.

Qualifications

• Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting skills
• Experience in Electrical Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of professionals to achieve project objectives
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• Valid CompEx 01- 04 certification
• Valid BOSIET, IMIST and OGUK
• Experience in the oil and gas, mining, or energy industry is a plus
