Responsible for managing daily reporting function for all the entities in Ghana

Key Responsibilities:

DAILY REPORTING

  • Summary of Daily report.
  • Review of inventory (QV)
  • Bank reconciliations
  • DSO&DPO (Aging)
  • Mass balance review
  • Daily sales report for management
  • Assist commercial team on cost/margin reviews

ASSISTANCE TO THE FINANCE CONTROLLER

Month End Reporting:

  • Review of fixed cost
  • Review of COGS, Varex and Sales
  • Loading other information/statistical data in HFM (Headcount, Market Share, Service Stations, Terminal Capacity, Airport Capacity, etc.

Budget & Planning:

  • Consolidate the budget numbers from the team and load in HFM
  • Full P&L budget; reviewing budget numbers & assumptions from the team
  • Load other budget information in HFM(Headcount and other statistics)

CAPEX Activities:

  • Reconcile general ledger (finance module) to sub-ledger (capex module) i.e. PUMAFIN vs CAPEX recon
  • Loading new capex in Kissflow for approval
  • DCF review/overview

Margin Analysis:

  • Margin Analysis by Customers
  • Margin reconciliations

Flash Reporting:

  • Weekly volume flash loading
  • Preparing the flash-loading Excel file
  • Flash loading into HFM

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to identify, communicate and ensure implementation of the agreed business objectives for the relevant unit.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and able to clearly present complex situations
  • Ability to plan and organise medium to long-term ahead
  • Ability to analyse and solve complex problems to achieve the correct outcomes
  • Sound business acumen, resourceful and be a lateral thinker
  • Ability to negotiate, interact and achieve targets
  • Financial and Analytical skills

QUALIFICATION

  • First degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Finance Controlling
  • Key Relationships and Department Overview:
  • Internal: Finance Manager, Finance Controller
  • External: Auditor stakeholder
