Graphic Designer - Ideas Printhouse Limited

Ideas Printhouse Ltd is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts, designs, and layouts for a wide range of print and digital materials, including marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, packaging, and branding materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and creativity across various mediums.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Conceptualize and create visual designs for print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, social media graphics, websites, and more.
• Develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with the company's brand identity and messaging.
• Use graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-quality designs and layouts.
• Create and edit images, illustrations, and other visual assets for use in print and digital materials.
• Ensure all designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are prepared and optimized for printing and digital distribution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software updates to continually enhance design skills and knowledge.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to present design concepts, gather feedback, and make revisions as needed.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design projects.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
• Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Experience with print production processes and digital design best practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to feedback and incorporate changes into design concepts.
