Responsibilities

  • Answers telephone system for screening calls, transferring calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages
  • Assists with employment process (e.g., call-backs, scheduling interviews, entering information into the computer, maintaining current applications, assisting with applicant searches, notification, new teacher orientation/induction, career fairs, etc) for meeting district team requirements while complying with established guidelines
  • Assists with new employee orientation (e.g, introducing personnel, payroll and benefits policies, assisting with enrollment forms, etc) to ensure team members are knowledgeable of current practices and administrative processes
  • Attends meetings, workshops and seminars to gather information required to perform functions
  • Compiles data from a variety of sources (e.g., applicants, team members, outside agencies etc) to comply with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements
  • Conducts exit interviews and enters data in computer to document and/or provide reliable information for the quarterly and end of your compilations of responses
  • Greets individuals entering the office (e.g., visitors, team, parents, applicants, etc) to respond to inquiries and/or directing individuals to the appropriate location
  • Prepares a variety of reports and related documents (e.g, classified and certificated reports, purchase orders, supply requisitions, recruitment packages, Human Resources newsletter, etc) to provide documentation and information
  • Processes documents and materials (e.g., applications, photographs of team members and identification cards, fingerprinting, employment verification etc) to develop and disseminate information for appropriate parties
  • Receives items within the office (e.g., mail, messages, application packets, packages, supplies, etc) to ensure receipt

Qualification Required & Experience

  • Diploma / Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or other related courses
  • One years experience in Food & Beverage outlet or similar position
  • Understand, speak and write in English fluently
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint
