Scope of Role
Our company is looking to recruit two (2) plumbing technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. Your duties will include supervising pipeline excavation and installation, collaborating with construction professionals, responding to plumbing emergencies, and conducting routine inspections.
With your expertise in welding and joinery techniques, familiarity with various piping materials, and adherence to safety regulations, you will ensure the efficient functioning of plumbing systems. Additionally, your strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail will be essential in completing projects accurately and effectively.

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and
- residential structures.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, and fittings, on transmission and distribution pipelines.
- Supervision of pipeline excavation, laying and backfilling.
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
- Follow pipe layout, building plans, and blueprints.
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for bids/customers.
- Keep accurate records/reports of working time and description of work.
Required Skills or Experience
- HND or Equivalent certificate
- A professional plumbing license is an advantage.
- Minimum, 3 years of related experience
- Valid driver’s license
Key Skills
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in plumbing.
- Skilled in Butt Welding, Electrofusion, PPR welding and joinery.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
- Familiarity with HDPE, PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, galvanized, and steel Piping.
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements.
