Service Technician - Sapiem

We are recruiting a Service Technician with a background as an HD Mechanic / Drill Fitter with Auto Electrician capabilities for our clients in the mining industry in Ghana and West Africa.

The Role

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of a combination of production and mining mobile plant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Handling both scheduled and unscheduled repair of the recruitment listed below either within site workshops on the field as required,
• Scheduled maintenance of the below-mentioned equipment either within the site or on the field as required.

Requirements

We only expect to receive submissions from suitably qualified applicants who can provide evidence of the following:

• Appropriate trade qualification certificate
• Min 5 yrs. Industry working experience
• Ability to pass a detailed medical and health exam
• National police clearance
• Valid Passport
• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Experience with CAT/ Volvo earthmoving equipment
• Experience with Sandvik and/or Epiroc drills
• Solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Solid understanding of CANBus systems
