PG Advertising Agency, a reputable advertising company in Ghana is seeking to employ talented persons for the following vacancy of Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities and duties
- Manage the company’s entire financial and accounting processes
- Supervise the staff of the department to keep financial and accounting records
- Ensure the company maintains proper accounting records
- Maintain effective internal controls over monies received spent and banked on a daily basis
- Prepare monthly management and periodic accounts and reports for management information and action
- Establish letters of credit to overseas suppliers for the supply of raw materials
- Liaise with relevant external agencies and organisations such as GRA, SSNIT, banks for bank reconciliation and submission of statutory returns
- Prepare draft annual statutory accounts for external auditors to work on
- Prepare review and analyze financial statements and supporting documents for management decision-making
- Prepare and monitor quarterly, half year and annual cash flow forecasts

Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a reputable organisation
- A professional qualification such as a certified internal auditor from the institute of Internal Auditors Ghana and/or CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is an added advantage
- Hands-on experience in auditing or verification of financial transactions is required
- Experience with financial systems/finance module of enterprise resource planning (ERP) such as SAP or IPSAS/IFS in a large organisation is highly desirable
- Experience in reviewing, monitoring and reporting on internal controls and risk management
- Proven experience in data analytics and financial analysis
