Key Responsibilities
- Works together with colleagues in the Activations Team to ensure calendar and spend plans for all activations and events are in place monthly.
- Works together with colleagues in the Activations Team to plan and execute all consumer activations – Church, School, Neighborhood, Mall, Wedding, Office, VOW, Festivals etc
- Scouts for events (to be sponsored) that are relevant to the brands’ strategy and positioning.
- Ensures required branding materials are available per location. Also ensures branding materials across all locations are kept safe and in good condition for use.
- Oversees extensive venue branding for all events and activations.
- Works together with colleagues in the Activations Team to ensure post-activation/event reports are available weekly and monthly.
- Works together with colleagues in the Activations Team to track and measure the impact of activations/events weekly and monthly.
- Together with colleagues in the Activations Team liaise with third-party Agencies contracted to plan and execute selected activations/events.
- Works together with colleagues in the Activations Team to ensure optimization of cost for all activations and events.
- Liaises with Trade Marketing and third-party Agencies to execute Market Storms nationwide especially those about Consumer Promotions.
- Liaises with the Sales Team to ensure sales during all events and activations.
- Comes up with suggestions to enhance current events and activations. Comes up with ideas for other relevant events and activations.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- A Diploma, BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in running consumer-focused activations in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
- Retail Marketing experience with a B2C brand will be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with proven skills in activations and events management
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. Good command of the English Language and at least 2 distinct local languages
- Good presentation development and delivery skills
- A hands-on person with a knack for problem-solving.
- Team player with leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Computer savvy. Proficient in MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work extended hours on evenings, weekends and holidays and across regions.
- Well-travelled within Ghana and know their way around most regions.
