We are seeking a dedicated and motivated environmental health and safety (EHS) trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible workplace within the plastic manufacturing industry. The EHS Trainee will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop expertise in environmental health and safety practices
Job Description
- Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols and company policies
- Shadow experienced EHS professionals to learn best practices in workplace safety, environmental compliance and risk management
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the environmental and safety regulations
- Assist in preparing reports, documentation and data analysis related to environmental health and safety initiatives
- Participate in training programs to gain knowledge of environmental regulations, safety protocols and company policies
- Shadow experienced EHS professionals to learn best practices in workplace safety, environmental compliance and risk management
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with the environmental and safety regulations
- Assist in preparing reports, documentation and data analysis related to environmental health and safety initiatives
- Participate in safety inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and implement corrective measures
- Lean to conduct routine safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and protocols
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures for various scenarios, including fire, chemical spills and medical emergencies
- Participate in drills and simulations to enhance emergency response preparedness

Qualification Required & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety or related fied
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn to use safety equipment and tools used in environmental health and safety inspections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new concepts and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
