We are looking for a talented WAREHOUSE OPERATOR to join our team specializing in LOGISTICS for our DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SEGMENT in AHANTA WEST, WESTERN, GHANA .In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
- Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Transfer of parts to other branches
- Availability during weekends for unplanned jobs
- Warehouse Operations – Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.) and/or other heavy machinery.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Primary Location: Ghana-Western-Ahanta West-Ghana, Tarkwa, DBU – Liebherr Maintenance site
