The duties that candidate will be responsible for Buck Press Ltd in Ofankor is looking for a Computer to Plate (CtP) Machine Operator. Ideal candidate must be able fully operate the CtP machine with little to no supervision.
Job Function
Work in collaboration with Graphic Department and the Customer Service team to produce the highest level of quality printing plates and output that ensures satisfaction of client’s objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform transfer, backup and reorganization of client information
- Preflight and manipulate file content for output – trapping, graphic formats, colour, sizing etc.
- Create signature imposition
- Produce and verify colour imposition proofs
- Produce and verify offset printing plates
- Keep plates consumption and CTP reports
- Maintain client data for retrieval and historical purposes
- Perform regular equipment maintenance
- Plan all jobs for press
- Any other duty assigned by supervisor

Job Requirement:
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Computer to Plate (CtP) Machine operation.
Work experience and Skills
- A previous experience in the same role
- Working knowledge of CTP Workflow
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- Working knowledge of offset print and electronic pre-press requirement
- Detailed oriented and a good team player
- Proficient in the use of ICT
