Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Fabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets and in compliance with all applicable standards of safety and performance.
• Perform professional Welding according to design.
• Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard. Keep the workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment.
• Execute welds in a professional manner, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Work independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects.
• Offer additional services as may be required.

Required Skills or Experience

• At least has an HND certificate.
• Good level of knowledge and experience in welding machinery, electrical equipment,
• and manual tools.
• A minimum of two (2) years of welding experience on various projects.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and workshop safety protocols.

Preferred

• On-the-job experience
• A valid certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
• A work history reflecting successfully finished projects.

Key Skills

• Interpretation of drawings/designs
• Ability to read and follow a product datasheet, specs sheet, and other product material.
• Comfortable with both mechanical and electronic tools handling
