Nestlé Ghana is currently looking for a Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Specialist at our Nestle Ghana Head Office who will provide support and implement the annual communications plan to strengthen Nestle’s reputation with internal and external stakeholders.

A Day in a Life……

  • Define and ensure the execution of the annual communication plan for our Creating Shared Value (CSV) / Nutrition Health and Wellness (NHW) initiatives across the country/cluster (external/ internal audiences).
  • Manage the relations with Media (local, international) while identifying opportunities to amplify our positive story and develop strong relationships with Media. Also manage the media database (journalists, editors, bloggers).
  • Define and manage all communication contents – press releases, articles, stories and stories and manage media queries.
  • Deliver briefing materials for media interviews and talking points for external stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide support to sustainability programs and manage program databased and analytics
  • Provide communication support for other departments.
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure the delivery of communication materials and ensure consistency of messages (newsletters, corporate paraphernalia etc.)

What Will Make You Successful?

  • Knowledge of different communications tools and their utility (social media, websites, community management, stakeholder engagement …)
  • Strong writing, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Communications Guidelines.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), French will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good interpersonal skills

Minimum Educational Qualification: Minimum of First Degree in Journalism, Communication Studies, Public Relations or other related fields.

Minimum Relevant work experience: 3 years experience in communication, advertising, writing, editing, and publishing
