Job Summary
The position holder is responsible for providing Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning support services to the Absa Young Africa works project.

The role holder will provide monitoring and learning support in the areas of operations, supporting the project team and Project Manager in the delivery of complete and timely reporting to the Mastercard Foundation according to service standards and governance requirements.
Job Description
Accountability Customer Service
Time Split: 80%
Output:
Monitoring and Evaluation – 80%
- Assist the Monitoring and Evlauation Manager with the development of M&E plan for the Project including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management and developing M&E and/ performance monitoring plans.
- Fully participate in data collection, storage, analysis, reporting ensuring that data is of high quality and audit worthy.
- Responsible for supporting the preparation and review of Project report in collaboration with other Project staff.
- Manage research activities and ensure outcomes and lessons learned are integrated into the project and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide training and mentoring to partners and staff to ensure the implementation of strong M&E systems.
- Design and manage sex and age disaggregated data, beneficiary monitoring and database systems

Technical Support – 20%
- Embark on monitoring visits to project participants to observe and and report on MSMEs growth and youth employment
- Support the M&E Manager to develop ToR for evaluation and research activities under the project
- Analyze and interprete data, report on change patterns in data performance reviews
- Provide advice and recommended tools and strategies to improve project tracking
- Other additional tasks as requested
- Provide support in Loan Monitoring

Higher Certificates and Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
