In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications for our company. You will work closely with the front-end development team, the graphic designers, the user experience designers, and the back-end developers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent.
Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, and implementing applications using Node.JS (next.js nx), Golang, or Rust
- Ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
- Building reusable code for future use
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages
- Designing high-stress software architectures
- Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications
- Meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables
- Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives
- Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design

Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong understanding of fundamental design principles and user experience requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.JS (next.js nx), Golang or Rust
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as TypeScript and React.js
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Deployment with a DevOps mindset on managed services and cloud providers (GCP OR AWS)
- Strong experience with Databases
- Firebase, message brokers (message queues, pub/sub), websockets (beneficial)
