Job Purpose
To provide proactive leadership, guidance, and service relating to the environmental management system and practices at CNML sites to ensure the achievement of targets and fulfill company and regulatory/statutory requirements as well as best practices.

Knowledge (In-depth)
- Thorough understanding of Environmental Management Systems, Strong knowledge of ISO 14001:2015. Experience in ISO 45001:2018 is an added advantage.
- Experience in AKOBEN, i.e., EPA special audit program used to assess the environmental performance of mining and manufacturing companies in Ghana through a rating and disclosure system.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the mining industry, with a strong understanding of pertinent environmental legislation, regulations, approvals, permits, licenses, and best practices in the Ghanaian Mining Industry.
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to drive for results through planning, alignment, and execution.
- Ability to build working relationships through respect and integrity, open communication, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship management.
- Ability to drive high performance through leading by example and initiative, continuous learning & coaching, measuring, recognizing, and rewarding
