  • SALARY RANGE   30,000 Ghs Net + Performance Package
  • JOB LOCATION Accra, Ghana
  • DIVISION / DEPARTMENT: Commercial
  • DIRECT REPORTS: Chief Commercial Officer
  • DOTTED REPORTS: Chief Executive Officer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager, of Remittance, will have responsibility for the marketing, engagement and management of international remittance partners and other such multilateral entities for Cross Switch. 

This role is a Sales and Business Development role with a special focus on the remittance business. The staff will be expected to exhibit deep knowledge and understanding of the global remittance flow to and within Africa. He/She must have an excellent network within the remittance space.

The staff shall be expected to contribute strongly to the leadership and strategic management of the company’s remittance business portfolio.

He/she must ensure the successful onboarding and execution of all remittance business objectives at all times."

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market and onboard international remittance partners for Cross Switch Ghana 
  • Screen potential partnership business deals by analyzing deal requirements, potential, and financials 
  • Serve as in-house business lead and partner for remittance businesses and partnerships
  • Assist in the designing, development and implementation of business and operational  processes relating to remittance business and partnership 
  • Facilitate the development of innovative solutions and products for the remittance business in conjunction with relevant internal teams  
  • Facilitate operational efficiency and management of the operational risks involved in the remittance business 
  • Conduct the industry and market survey and intelligence with a view of growing and enhancing the remittance business of Cross Switch Ghana 
  • Assist in the regular update of the regulations, rules, and guidelines in relation to remittance in such a manner that ensures sustainable business
  • Develop the system requirements and participate in user acceptance test in respect of remittance
  • Promptly report business and operational activities to management as may be expedient 
  • Prepare annual and other periodic marketing plans and budgets for remittance business for executive consideration

Required Skills or Experience

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 6+ years experience in remittance 
  • Proven experience in managing a remittance business role in a financial institution or similar environment
  • Experience in working with remittance companies with a great understanding of the remittance landscape, trends and players 
  • Relevant experience in onboarding and marketing of remittance companies
  • Great personality and networking skills
  • High level of integrity

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Hold a minimum of Master’s degree in Business, Management or a related field
