We are looking for a qualified Plumber:
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Maintain plumbing equipment including, but not limited to, faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters
- Install new plumbing fixtures including, but not limited to, sinks, commodes, urinals, faucets
- Provide labour and material estimates related to plumbing for small remodel projects. Coordinate inspections for contractor-performed work in renovations and new construction projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills or Experience
TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- 3-5 years experience or 1-year Technical Diploma with 2-4 years experience in related trade.
- Experience as a maintenance and repair technician is preferred.
- Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
- Ability to Maintain records and document actions
- Operating knowledge of general plumbing repair and maintenance equipment and efficient use of repair parts and tools required for hire.
- A valid Class ‘A’ driver’s license will be an added advantage.
