A Construction Company is looking to employ a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor who has specialized in road or building construction.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs
- Prepare, negotiate and analyze costs for tenders and contracts
- Coordinate work effort
- Advise on a range of legal and contractual issues
- Value completed work and arranging for payments

Required Skills or Experience
Education
- Have a Degree equivalent
- Must have 5 years of experience in a related field
Skills and Abilities
- Be Computer literate
- Be ready to work under pressure with less or no supervision
- Work efficiently in a team
- Should have good communication skills; both verbal and written
- Should have commendable analytical abilities
- Should be comfortable with the necessary documentation
- Should be capable of working in adverse situations
- Proper social etiquette and cultural knowledge
- Creative and problem-solving skills
- Good negotiations skills
