The Sales Engineer is responsible for partnering with customers to identify needs, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. The Sales Engineer reports to the General Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly sales target
- Receive and process customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner, as well as provide order status updates
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Offer a variety of product solutions to client
- Create and maintain sales records
- Set clear and achievable expectations with clients and achieve them
- Assists the Estimation team to provide quotations to clients when required.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct quarterly reviews of processes to ensure processes are delivering their intended outputs
- Ensure all assigned non-conformances are adequately addressed and corrected.
- Report on opportunities for improvement of the Quality Management System
- Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify departmental Process Risks and Opportunities
- Conduct a quarterly review of the HSE risk profile
- Evaluate the effectiveness of actions to achieve OHSE departmental objectives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of actions to address departmental OHSE risk
- Address hazards assigned to the department
