--> Ghana Health and Education Initiative (GHEI) is recruiting for a Health Program Coordinator (HPC) to be based in Humjibre, Ghana.
The ideal candidate is ready to get their hands dirty, and has a willingness to give, learn, and leave an impact through their commitment to this position! I. Start Date and Duration
Start Date: September 1, 2022
Duration: September 1, 2022 – August 31st, 2023
Only applicants willing to commit to the full 12 months should apply. Extension beyond one year is welcome based on exemplary job performance.

Capacity Building (25%)
- Mentor and build management capacity of two local HPA’s through formal and informal training and activities as they take on a leadership role within the organization.
- Build the capacity of the 2 full-time Mother Mentors and 1 part-time Mother Mentor.
IV. Compensation and Benefits
GHEI puts nearly all our funds into supporting our mission of providing necessary health and education programs to communities in rural Ghana. Unfortunately, we cannot cover the cost of international travel, nor can we cover the cost of visas and health insurance for international candidates.
Salary: The HPC will receive a salary of 1200 GHC/month, equivalent to $200 USD. This salary is non-negotiable.
Housing: In Humjibre, the HPC will also receive free housing on-site for the duration of the agreement.
Vacation: The HPC receives 25 days of holiday a year.
For Candidates Not Currently Based in Ghana: If coming from overseas, the HPC will receive initial transport to Humjibre from Accra and all necessary immigration registrations and documents for foreign residents in Ghana.
