La Community Bank Limited seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Internal Auditor
Role Summary
Manage the audit function and ensure efficient systems of control and compliance are in place and working in all sections of the bank
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum qualification of first degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar qualification from a recognised university
- Must be a certified internal auditor or a chartered accountant or in possession of the second degree in auditing/accounting
- A minimum of 7 years of auditing experience with at least 5 years in the financial services industry
- Some system audit experience is preferred
- Proficient in the use of an Accounting software

Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent banking operations
- Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory frameworks both locally and at the international level including ITRS reporting, BASEL 2 and other international standards
- Extensive working knowledge/experience of auditing standards and regulations
- Bank of Ghana regulations and guidelines
- Operations of rural & community banks
- Developments and trends in the financial services industry
