Power City Network is seeking to recruit a Service Technician.

Job Summary

  • The Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of different multi-functional printers. Must be familiar with printers and photocopiers (Konica Minolta / Canon / Xerox/ HP).
  • Must be able to conduct diagnostics and analysis to assess the condition of the machines, they are servicing and resolve issues in minimum time. The Service Technician will be involved in routine maintenance/check-ups of the machines.
  • The service technician is expected to be trustworthy, have good analytical skills, and have good decision-making skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fixing defective or broken parts or ordering the necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out parts.
  • Perform repairs on faulty equipment as soon as possible
  • Perform maintenance and service tasks for customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance works, and conduct client demonstrations when required.
  • Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnoses.
  • Provide training to customers about product usage and maintenance.
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services.
  • Effectively communicate to clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs.
  • Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty contracts, installation reports, and other service reports to the department head.
  • Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively to meet sales goals.
  • Tasks assigned may be modified periodically not changing the core nature of the job.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering A minimum of Senior High School Certificate with strong IT/Electrical/Electronic skills is an added advantage.

Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience is required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ability to repair broken printers and photocopiers of the following brands:

  • Konica Minolta
  • Canon o Car o HP
  • Xerox
  • Exclusive blend of technical IT skills and service-centred soft skills
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Managing extra time on service calls with patience and not rushing the job.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers’ non-technical descriptions.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used.
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and bend frequently.
